I was thoroughly impressed by the serene beauty and tranquillity of Finca Vela Lodge, which offered a perfect blend of nature and comfort. The hospitable and warm welcome from Christophe and Marie added a personal touch to our stay. The cabins were cozy and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable retreat. The highlight was undoubtedly the snorkelling experience right off the dock, immersing us in a stunning underwater world. The food, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, was a culinary delight each day. This lodge is ideal for those seeking a peaceful escape and an unforgettable experience in the lap of nature.

Our family with 2 adult children loved our stay at Finca Vela. Marie and Christophe and their staff made us feel like honored guests in their beautiful lodge. We enjoyed swimming and snorkeling off the dock and used the stand up paddle boards and kayaks. Marie is an excellent chef and we enjoyed all our meals. Our son's Air Panama's flight was delayed and he would have likely missed his flight home from Tocumen. After we alerted Marie of the situation, she immediately made a few calls and our son was on his way to the BOCA airport to catch an earlier flight home.

This place was amazing. Stunning property right on the ocean with a dock to lay out on and swim and snorkel. There is a reef right by the dock for snorkeling as well as kayaks and paddle boarding. The property is very well decorated and cute with lots of well thought out details. Amazing home cooked food as well and cocktails and great service.

I love the location and the concept. Isolated on an island with all kinds of ways to enjoy nature (snorkelling, paddling, kayaking, excursions, relaxing by the pool, bird watching, ...). After a great day spend in nature, the pleasure of having a good hot shower followed by an excellent homemade meal is a plus. The meals are prepared with fresh local ingredients, from their garden or bought locally moreover the french cuisine touch of Marie with some tropical combination is delicious. Upon arrival and seeing the property it will be evident to you — the owners have created a first class lodge with many unique bungalows and special amenities; as well as very detailed touches to give a superb experience to those who choose to visit. After having stayed on four different islands and four different lodgings in the Bocas Del Toro Archipelago, I can attest that Finca Vela is my favorite!
