Picturesque town with lots of photo opportunities and hiking directly out of town. Smallish, but fun Medina which is full of steps and alleys you can get lost in, but easy to get out of as well. A bit touristy but souks are not pushy at all.

Scenic, but lots of tourists (including us!) most handicrafts for sale did not appear to be of high quality; however, some rugs looked quite nice but I didn’t have the capacity (room) to consider purchasing any.

We went on motorcycles
the road up to it is in a terriable state and th elighting is very poor.
If you go in the winter then its just another rainy town.
Lots off ferrel dogs about pulling bins over in search of food and leaving the place less than desirable. Of which the locals were happy about.
So my advice do not go in winter

The colors of the city , the houses are beautiful. the shopping is great and nobody harasses you. Love the mountains and all the good restaurants. There is a Chinese restaurant there, la petite chengdu, that was really good. Walking up and down many steps is a must, if you visit and not avoidable, if you want to see the town.

Chefchaouen was a wonderful city to explore and it was beautiful! It is an easy space to wander around and explore the hidden nooks. We highly recommend getting a Moroccan Hammam and using it as a base for hiking in the Rif mountains.

Chefchaouen is a small town with its beautiful Medina , the scenery was just marvelous ,all green and colorful.A lot of possibilities for hiking or just walking. Went to Akchour water fall a must. All in all I enjoyed so much I’m planning to come back .For someone who likes walking it’s not a problem to get around.
This is an amazing little hotel in the middle of the madina. The room was large and clean. Staff were friendly and professional. The hotel sent a porter to the car park just outside of the Medina to meet us and help us with bags and to find the location (and they helped us back at the end of the stay). Breakfast was amazing and probably one of the best we had in Morocco. But the best was the spa. We booked the pool for a private swim and then had Hamman our attendent was friendly and it was a great experience.
Place is waaay better than anywhere else in town, clean, comfy. The host Abdul Salam is very knowledgeable about Morocco and the town. Always nice to have a conversation with.
Was very supportive when my we got an emergency and had to go to the hospital and gave us recommendations, allowed me to use his friend's hotel kitchen mostafa to cook since we couldn't eat from restaurants also he gave us free upgrade to our room due to that.
We wouldn't expect half of what he offered
Also the WiFi is on point
Choosing this hotel was the best decision we had made on our trip to Morocco. Loved everything about it. Definitely the best view Chefchaouen can offer. Rooms were clean, big and the bed was comfortable. And breakfast was amazing, which was served on the rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of the city. Also the view from our room was unbeatable. The staffs were always very welcoming and helping in any way they can. Our room was also upgraded without any charge. Highly highly recommended.
This property was fabulous. Perfectly located… not far from taxi drop off and right in the main square. Absolutely beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are all different and spacious and clean. We were offered options on rooms and could barely choose due to liking them all. Comfortable beds, nice amenities. Adorable little courtyard and many different dining areas with great views. Delicious breakfast included. Fast wifi. One of our favorite hotels.
It's a very lovely hotel in the middle of the old town (blue city). The room were very spacious and clean. I love the decoration. Said, Bilal and Mohamed were super friendly and helpful, they welcomed us with moroccan mint tea and give us recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. the location is also perfect which everything is close. the view from the terrace is beautiful. I highly recommend this place
Location was excellent. Very easy to get around the medina yet on a short side street so very quiet.
Breakfast was traditional Moroccan breakfast of tasty breads, jams, honey etc.
Host (and his charming father) were welcoming and helpful.
Hotel is colorful and pretty. Host is almost always on site and available. They are in the process of doing a lot of upgrades and adding rooms.
Ahmed and Assia at the front desk are extraordinary hosts and quite knowledgeable about Chefchaouen and Morocco. They alternate between Arabic, French, and English with ease. The other staff are attentive and efficient and work with smiles. Breakfast was excellent and is sometimes accompanied by the boss singing. I recommend this hotel without qualification.
Very friendly staff, and a new hotel that ticks all the boxes. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and wifi was excellent. Breakfast was the best we've had in Morocco (coffee was excellent) and the hotel certainly represents good value for money. Definitely a very solid option in this beautiful town!
Everything. The staff is amazing and the food the best. We usually never eat in the hotel we are staying in: we had a late lunch the day we arrived and it was too. That's why we decided to stay for dinner: great decision. Fantastic breakfast in a lovely dining room next to a fireplace
The apartment was nicely decorated, the location was excellent, the breakfast was the best we had in Morocco, and the host was very responsive and made the check in/check out process easy. The outdoor terrace has amazing views of Chefchaouen (especially at sunset!).
What an amazing place. I traveled through most of Morocco and this was the absolutely best hostel I stayed in. The staff is incredibly nice, kind and helpful, the hostel is pretty and clean. Location is perfect too. Highly recommend!
The hotel location was excellent directly on the street to take a taxi which is 5 mins from bus station and just at the old medina door with alot of shops and restaurants surrounding , staff are extremely friendly and helpful
the staff is so kind and make you feel comfortable. they take good care of the clients and shared valuable information about how to get around not only in Chefchaouene but Morocco. the breakfast is delicious
As seasoned Cultural Morocco Tour operators in Morocco, we enthusiastically endorse this property for its prime location adjacent to the iconic Chefchaouen and its exceptional service quality.
Breakfast was great! Everything fresh, served to our room with smiles and care, lots of variety, better than any top hotel has produced during our 3 month stay in Morocco.
Very nice hotel overall. Staff was amazing - especially Essam from the front desk who went out of his way to accommodate us - helping within dinner reservations etc.
