The location is perfect, just off Lyabi Khause Square and easily walkable to everything in old town. Breakfast is amazing - they just keep bringing food, and it's all good. The family who run the guesthouse are really wonderful, honestly concerned that you enjoy your stay, helpful, and more responsive before arrival than most guesthouses I stayed at in Uzbekistan. They can also help arrange transportation to sites outside the center for really good rates.

The family that runs Samani Bukhara is delightful. I had a lot of fun speaking with the sons (they both have good English and one has lived in the UK) and the father is lots of fun to talk to in Russian. The family made me feel very comfortable in Bukhara. Breakfasts were delicious and could be eaten either in the breakfast room or the spacious courtyard. The hotel is less than one minute walk from Lyabi Hauz square, the charming social center of Bukhara. I recommend you stay here!

The location is good and the old Bukhara is walkable distance from the stay. The food is very good (being a vegetarian, my needs were catered to very well). They offered a pickup from railway station at an affordable additional charge as well. The handmade slippers to use inside room was a good touch

The place and the hosts were amazing. The rooms were clean and beautiful and the location is in walking distance to all major attractions. The hosts waited until late night for us to check-in and gave us recommendations on things to see and places to eat. The breakfast was also great.

The place was great in all respects and probably the best I stayed in during my time in Uzbekistan. The owner and his family were alway happy to help (in English or Russian) with anything and were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The breakfast was great and the location was perfect - right by Lyavi Hauz, but around 30 meters away from the main buzz so it was dead quiet at all times. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. I will definitely stay again next time I'm in Bukhara.

Location-wise Samani is perfect. Just 50 meters from the landmark pool of Labi Hauz. The owners, both father and son, can speak decent English. They are also very helpful. Breakfast is hot from oven, as well as a couple of fruits. Room is OK. Price is great.

Great location and extremely friendly and hospitable managers/receptionists. We only stayed for a day and a half so they outlined a city tour for us to fit our schedule. We booked 2 rooms, both were spacious, air conditioned and clean.
